My Acne Cure Book is Ready — WIN a Copy! [Closed]

I finally finished the acne cure book that I’ve been working on! My original plan was just to write this blog and include a bunch of info on here, but I was getting a lot of requests to write a book, so to all of you who asked, here ya go!
Before I make it available, I wanted to ask for your input to see if there’s any last minute topics I need to address in the book. At the end of the post, find out how you can win a copy of my new book.
The REAL Guide to Flawless, Acne-Free Skin (Only 4 Weeks to a Clear Complexion That Stays Clear) contains 6 Chapters (and a Resource guide) jam-packed with information, all in an easy-to-understand format so it’s not overwhelming. Each chapter focuses on a particular aspect of getting rid of acne and achieving flawless skin: Diet, Exercise, Skin Care, Mind, Healing Acne Scars, and Troubleshooting for Difficult Cases. I give you a lot of guidelines, but I also tell you exactly what you can do — so you can either pick and choose, or follow an exact protocol, depending on your preference. I go into major detail on each subject, more than I could ever do in one of my articles, but I will always update the acne book content on this website when new research and new products come to light.
- Foods to eat and foods to avoid
- Sample meal plan to get you started
- Detailed skincare and natural makeup recommendations
- My individual skin care, diet, and exercise routine
- Foods and supplements for glowing skin
- How to get rid of acne scars
- How to balance your hormones for clear skin
- Learn to use your mind as a powerful tool for clearing acne
- Super simple, super cheap DIY skin care for those on a tight budget
- Skin care ingredients to avoid
Here are some questions I’ve received via email, too:
- Will your advice really work for my skin? Yes it will, and if you have a “difficult” case, I included a troubleshooting section in the book, and you can always email me if you need more help. I’ve also received some amazing comments on YouTube and my blog here from men and women saying how their skin has improved dramatically since following the advice on my YouTube channel and blog. I’m really happy that I can be of help. No one wants acne, and if I can help you get rid of it, I will!
- How long will it take to clear my skin? You should start seeing a calming of any redness and irritation within 3–5 days, and a dramatic improvement within 1 month. You may not be 100% acne-free by that time, but the number of spots on your face should be greatly reduced, redness greatly diminished or gone, and your skin’s dryness/oiliness more balanced. This book is not some bogus 3-day quick-fix — I made this book to offer a long-term solution, so you can get clear, beautiful skin and keep it that way for life.
- Have you ever had acne? There are many different types of acne, and when I turned 19 I started to get blackheads and whiteheads on my forehead and chin. It was really obvious because my skin is so light, and any redness or spot was like a spotlight on my face. I started doing extensive research on skin care and nutrition at that age, and everything I recommend and discuss in my blog and in this new book, I have tried on myself or on my willing test subjects. ;D
- What kind of products do you recommend? A lot! I have tried many products, read many reviews, and talked to many people about what skin care products were successful for them. The reason I give you so many options in this book is because I wanted to give you a few differently priced products to suit different budgets, and if one product doesn’t work, you have the option for others. Plus, if you’re on a tight budget or simply more independent, I also included easy do-it-yourself recipes and techniques.
- Do you include meal plans? I do include a sample meal plan to get you started. More importantly, I include the entire theory on eating for clear skin, as well as details on what foods to enjoy and what foods to avoid. This information will help you to make wise decisions about food even without a meal plan because I’ve given you the tools to create your own meals and an idea of what to order when you go out.
I would love to have your input, so if there is anything in particular you want to see in this book, feel free to let me know! Everyone who leaves a comment below will be entered to win a copy of my new book.
The winner will be randomly selected.
I look forward to reading your comments!

Did you mention that different types of breakouts need a different treatment? For example, those breakouts that are way under the surface and that hurt but you cna only feel but cant really see are cause because of bacteria so treating those wiht tee tree oil would help. I find that tee tree oil can make my skin flakey if i try to use it to treat clogged pore breakouts..
Thankyou!
Enter me please! thank you xx
awesome, congratulations on writing a book!
perhaps there could be a bit about the effect of stress on outbreaks, as i personally find that’s what causes mine, stress on the body (illness) and stress on the mind (overworking)…

The outline of the book already sounds great! It’s going to be so helpful. Is there any way to reduce the size of pores? When I was young, I had a lot of whiteheads and blackheads and I regret ever messing with my skin to remove them out because now I have big pores that’s left.
looking forward to reading the book..
Enter me! thanks
Just wanted to say congratulations on the book. What a great accomplishment!

Hi! I watch your you-tube channel, I know you hear this a lot but you have the most beautiful skin, the kind that actually looks like you’ve never had skin problems, sans makeup. I have a concern on oily, acne-prone skin. Another thing I’d like to hear about is eczema, it plagues me on the area around my eye. The oily skin and eczema combination is a bit puzzling to me. I’d love to hear about fixes for that.
I cannot wait for this book to come out! I always thought that the way to clear skin was through products you put on your skin. Now I know that eating healthy will do a much better job @ that!
Oh, enter me please!
Your book sounds great — I can’t wait to read it!! Enter me please
I think you’re doing a great job, however in regards to the diet and supplements part, I wonder if you have explained the difference supplemantion that a female body requires compared to the one a male body needs; also the differece between a teenagers and adults, and so on. I think you have to be really specific on this part if you pretend to explain the topic into a really deep lvl.
and I’ll love to have a copy
Congrats on the new book Stephanie. I recently found your blog while searching Chizu Saeki’s lotion mask technique.
Definitely looking forward to knowing how the mind can be used as a tool to clearing acne, and if it can be used on more severe skin conditions such as eczema.
can’t wait to read the book!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! YAY!!! I CANNOT WAIT to read your book! It looks like it’s going to be amazing. I think you pretty much cover everything regarding skin health. The only thing that comes to my mind that I would love to read and see what your thoughts are is the topic regarding our body’s alkalinity/acidity balance and how can this affect our skin health. Oh, also something that I recently heard, how our blood type can influence how we digest and process certain foods (i.e. Type A’s do not do well with mangoes, tomatoes, and cabbages.) I do not know if you maybe already covered these in your book…but it’s just a suggestion. =)
I look forward to reading more things from you…specially your upcoming book!
Kind regards,
VeRo
P.S.
Stephanie, thank you so much for doing this! =)
Congrats!
The one thing that really cleared up my face fast was going to my derm for blue light treatments. It really works and there’s no toxic chemicals involved which I know is a plus for many people who opt for more natural treatments or who are super sensitive.
I found this website through your youtube video and the information on here is amazing and exactly what I was looking for! I’m planning on trying out your diet and also looking into trying some of the products you recommend. After my acne flared up a couple of years ago I started paying more attention to diet and staying away from chemicals. I tried out very restrictive diet plans that in the end I was unable to fully stick to, but I love how your diet plan seems very reasonable and definitely doable! Congatulations on your book! Can’t wait for it to come out, cause I’d love to read it. Thanks so much for your dedication to helping other people get healthy and sharing all these useful natural tips.
Thank you for such a lovely comment, Olga.
I appreciate it.
Best,
Steph x
definitely looking forward to the book
I’m glad, Zeffy! Me too
It would be great if you made sure that you covered the subject of blackheads well. Tell us how to get rid of them and how to keep them away. I’m a redhead with fair skin and my blackheads aren’t very pretty. D: Help me!
Hi Mary! I do cover the subject of blackheads, and in the meantime, try gently exfoliating your skin (no grain or seed scrubs, those will tear your skin) once every 7 days, and lay off all refined sugar (white sugar, brown sugar, etc.). You should see an improvement right there.

This book sounds like such a beneficial guide, especially for me an acne sufferer for about a decade! In one of your earlier videos you mentioned your love for lotion masks. I was wondering what a lotion mask was, and if you include this in your book.
Hey Connie, I can include some more details on the lotion mask in my book, but I have to check if that infringes on any copyright by Chizu Saeki. That’s why I haven’t written a post or done a video on it.
If it’s okay, then I’ll write how to do it and so on.

It seems like I’ve had acne issues forever! Ranging from mild to well…a lot worse. I love that you’ve done so much research and how you encourage naturally based skin care. You’ve definitely encouraged me to learn more and do research of my own. Thank you!
Wow! I always wanted to read a book like yours! Do you also have a section about natural oils (like tea tree oil, jojoba oil)? They really help benefit the skin but there are so many out there!
Good luck with your new book
Hi Ameira, thank you for the comment! I have lots of information on natural oils in the skincare section. I included jojoba, tea tree, olive, coconut, sweet almond, and lots more. ;D

hi! I would love to find out more about getting better skin, I feel like I’ve done everything from going to several dermatologists, estheticians, naturopath, proactiv, over and behind the counter stuff, and so on
Sign me up for this contest!
would you be able to include information on shrinking pores, HYPO-pigmentation and dark eye-lids? thank you so much!
Hi Noor, I’m only including information on acne and treating acne scars in this book, so dark eyelids won’t be covered (this is usually a result of irritating cosmetics and possibly genetics, so you can see a dermatologist about lightening them since it’s a delicate area). Thanks for the suggestion on pores and pigmentation — I have already included them in the book, so that should be helpful!

I would love to have this book! –enter me please<3

I love all your tips and tricks. I would adore a copy of your book
I started having alot of pimples here and there (on my forhead and chin). Not those regular whiteheads, the ones I’m getting are bigger, firmer (as in, the white is deeper in my skin– and its like a white ball..not really a liquid if i pick at the pimple– i know gross lol), and they are hell of alot more sensitive when I touch them. So i decided to take things in control, I wash my face alot more with natural soap and neutrogena cleanser and I use a face scrub once in a while. I also use pure aloe vera gel mixed with glycerin and pure vitamin E as my night cream (it really helps with the scaring). Now my skin has all cleared up, but i still notice bumps and pimples on my forhead. I know my diet isnt the best, and I’m trying to work on that. I really dont know how to get rid of my problem (it might not seem like a problem..but i wake up every morning with at least 3 to 5 big pimples). I really hope your book can help, so enter me please.

ps. i love your post on dark circles!!
I have some acne scars and definitely have large pores. If I could just go back in time and handle my acne differently… Oh well, I am so thankful for your help on this subject and all the others you address. It’s a beautiful thing to know there are people like you out there that genuinely want to help others. Thank you Stephanie!!

For my whole life I have had many skin problem. This seems to be a HG for me. Thanks for combining all your tips in one such book. I am really waiting for your book to get a clear and beautiful skin I have always dreamt of. Thanks a lot for all your help.
I’de love to win a copy! Could you also do a review on your friends epic elixrs or link to others?
p.s. I loved your post on dark circles also, what was the radio/laser-whoja-ma-flip they used?
Hey Sophie,
Thanks, I’m glad you liked the dark circles post! I don’t recall the laser they used on the veins under my eyes, but I had that done over 7 years ago, so the advancement in lasers since then has been immense. My results lasted for about 6 years. I would visit a dermatologist or vein specialist who can determine the best type of laser to use on your dark circles. Now it doesn’t really bother me so I don’t think I’d get it done again — I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m just pale and veins are just going to show through. ;D

Hey enter me please!I really need to know the secrets to clear skin. Thanks
p.s: well i do know about using shaving cream to dry up zits as well Camellia Oil(a Japanese secret) and Manuka honey.
I love to read a lot about skin care and find out innovative ways to care about my skin. And, I believe that foods we eat affect our body the most. Would love to know what to eat and what to avoid.
