Me Without Makeup
Hello everyone!
I realize that I haven’t really shown much of myself yet, but I’m gearing up to start my YouTube videos (my channel has been up, but no videos…grumble grumble) and I took a picture of myself (which is weird, I’m a bit embarrassed) to show what I look like up close, not just hanging out on a beach several yards away.
So here I am, no makeup, freshly washed haha with nothin’ on my face, and absolutely no photo editing either so you can see the remainders of my under-eye circle veins (that’s what I get for being so pale) and some of my little freckles. Tee hee.
Anyway, random post and not much substance, but I have a wonderful set of tips coming for you tomorrow, and a few lovely reviews coming down the pipe!
All my best,
~Stephanie
I may love things completely the way Nature made them, but I also shower regularly.
I’m no dirty hippy.

Omg! You are SO gorgeous! I don’t see any under eye darkness, I wonder what you would think of my under eye circles.
Thanx for all the great advice!

Thank you, Stef, that’s really very sweet of you…maybe I was really well-rested and ate a bunch o’ greens that day.
I hope the under-eye circle article helps, but please feel free to ask questions if you have any! I’d be happy to answer.

you should see my under eye circles if you think those are bad! haha im 17 and mine and ridiculous
Your skin is perfect! what kind of moisturizer should i use if i am prone to getting acne? thanks =D
Hi again, Snigdha.
You could try using a little bit of olive oil, or sweet almond oil. Even a bit of shea butter will work nicely. If you prefer a more fancy moisturizer, check out the moisturizers for oily skin from 100% Pure, Sophyto, and Organic Apoteke.

Hello! I just discovered your blog and I started catching up on all the posts. To this one, i just wanted to say, you look really great and healthy! That makes me want to follow your advice even more
And also, thanks for your wonderful site! I will be a loyal reader from now on.
Just one question: You mention topical vitamin K as a good remedy for dark circles. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find any natural cream with Vitamin K. Do you know of any (even if you havent tried it) or any other way to get Vitamin K ON your skin (as opposed to eating it, which I will definitely do thanks to your advice).
Many thanks for your wonderful site!
Stef
Your skin is so beautiful… I should believe your tips then.
You must see my dark eye circles..they look horrible. I’m so impressed on how you take care of your skin. Good job!
Keep it up Steph!
omg, your eyes are like gems, like dark blue diamonds… they are so clear!
Aww wow thanks, Vivi! What an awesome compliment. I really appreciate it.

If you told me to pour pig’s blood on my face I would probably do it. You look amazing!
You look amazing!
Just to clarify did you ever have acne? I’ve got your book and haven’t finished yet, so excited to though.
Did you ever have any scars, how did you get rid of them? Also a have a tiny crater-enlarged pore, please help?!
Thank you.
) Yes, I had acne when I was 19 and I will still get blemishes to this day if I “fall off the wagon”. If I follow my own advice, I get to keep my skin clear. I hope you enjoy the book! Let me know what you think!
Yes, I have had old pigmentation scars, which I eliminated with CELSUS scar cream (topically) and MSM (internally). In the past I used vitamin E gel to heal blemish marks.
My mum has a pore like that, and honestly, the only thing that might reduce its size is an injectable filler, excision, or perhaps a laser treatment that helps restore collagen and elastin (which could tighten up that pore). Regular exfoliation and professionally administered microdermabrasion will help the pore appear smaller by keeping it clean.

You look amazing! I have battled dark circles my entire life and nothing has helped yet. I eat well, I exercise, and I’ve tried tons of topical treatments. I’m afraid surgery may be my only answer.
Have you ever shared a picture of yourself without makeup before your dark circle surgery? I’m very curious how drastic the improvement was because your circles are non-existent now! I would kill for halfway between what I have now and your end result — wow!
Hi Jillian! You can try laser, that can work well depending on what type of dark circles you have. I had laser on my under-eye circles when I was about 16 but the veins do tend to return in time (mine did at about 25). It’s still not so noticeable because the type of circles I have are due to thin, pale skin (my brother and mother have the same thing) and circulation. I keep my circles very light by exercising (circulation), proper diet (lots of greens and fermented foods for A, C, and K2), and topical treatments like vitamin C and retinal to thicken the skin. Works a treat.
